Youngstown 14" Cut Resistant Primary Protector — Arc-Rated Leather Glove Protector
When you’re working around energized equipment, your rubber insulating gloves are your last line of defense against shock — and this protector is what keeps those gloves intact. The Youngstown 14" Cut Resistant Primary Protector is engineered specifically for electrical workers who need 360° protection against cut, puncture, and flame without sacrificing the dexterity required to do the job.
Kevlar® Fiber Lining Throughout
A full Kevlar® fiber lining provides cut and puncture resistance across the entire glove — not just the palm. Whether you’re handling sharp hardware, rough conductors, or abrasive surfaces, the lining works continuously to protect both the glove and your hand underneath.
Arc-Rated to 48 cal/cm²
The FR Strap System is engineered to prevent dripping, melting, or ignition during arc flash exposure. Rated to 48 cal/cm², this protector meets the demands of high-exposure electrical environments where arc flash is a real and present risk.
Engineered for Rubber Insulating Glove Fit
Ergonomically designed to fit Class 1–4 rubber insulating gloves per ASTM F496 / ASTM F696 standards. Premium cow grain and suede construction delivers a superior fit that doesn’t fight the rubber glove underneath — so you maintain the dexterity you need to work safely and efficiently.
14" Extended Coverage
The 14" length extends protection well past the wrist and up the forearm — covering the area most exposed during overhead and reach work where standard-length protectors fall short.
