PowerSolv is a utility-grade cleaning solvent developed to meet industry standards and tested by NEETRAC to the proposed IEEE standard for cleaning solvents. It effectively removes contaminants, anti-oxidation compounds, carbon, grease, oil, and other residues from semi-conducting jackets, electrical cable insulation, motors, contacts, switch gears, transformers, and machinery. Compatible with polyethylene, EPR cable insulations, semi-conducting shields, EPDM, silicone rubber, and splice and termination materials. Non-corrosive and safe for use on rubber, metals, and plastic surfaces. Dries quickly and completely with no residue. Formulated as an environmentally responsible alternative to chlorinated solvents—contains no chlorinated solvents, CFCs, HCFCs, or ozone-depleting compounds.
